Magic Show in Colon 2008

James got to see a live escape by a girl who was placed inside a box then hoisted up into the air. The rope holding her box up was lit on fire and everyone though she would perish, but when the box was opened she was gone and then came out from the pizza parlor with a pizza. The crowd of about 100-200 people applauded and it was a great fall day for all.

The police and fire dept were on hand not only in case of an emergency but also to block off main street from traffic. You have to wonder what people traveling down 86 thought when they had to be detoured because a woman was bound and hung from a burning rope on mainstreet. They must have thought they were in the dark ages.

Once the street was blocked off the first thing James did was run across it, must be a natural instinct for a 4 year old.

Nottawa Farms Petting Zoo

We were working on a magic site and had to attend a magic auction/flea market in Colon. We promised James that if he was good we would take him to the petting zoo which was about 15 minutes away. James was very good and we went to Nottawa Farms which is a combination greenhouse, nursery, playground, and petting zoo. James had fun then we returned back to the magic auction where James was able to played in the playground there.

A great time and we got many pictures for the http://www.magicgettogether.com website, you can see them in the flea market section under the about us page.
